The working meeting was organized in the frames of the project “Legalization of Roma housing in Macedonia “
The meeting with the field facilitators, engaged in the project “Legalization of Roma housing in Macedonia”, was held on 22nd July 2013 in Kumanovo.
On the meeting we exchanged important information about the field activities and the actual situation of the ongoing process of legalization of illegally built objects. The seven facilitators from Kumanovo, Suto Orizari, Stip, Kocani, Tetovo and Prilep presented their responsibilities and the challenges that they have faced in their work from 2011. Together with the project team from NRC and the assistants from the Resource Centre we reviewed the results from our work so far, as well as the possible solutions of the existing problems.
NRC is implementing the project “Legalization of housing for Roma” in partnership with Habitat Macedonia and with a financial support from FOSM – Macedonia. The purpose of the project is to help the Roma families in six municipalities to realize their right for housing.
