Participants of the association National Roma Centrum and the primary school Brakja Miladinovci – Municipality of Ilinden ambassadors of Roma folklore from Macedonia
Traditionally, this year the National Roma Center with the Primary School “Brakja Miladinovci” from Miladinovci – Ilinden Municipality participated in the thirteenth consecutive Children Roma Festival “Open Heart” with international character, which was held in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria.
The festival “Open Heart” in 2016 was organized by CMEDT “Amalipe” and it was a combination of folk dance, modern choreography, dramatization of stories, singing performances, demonstrations of various crafts from different ethnic groups in Bulgaria and included groups from Macedonia, China, Romania, Albania and Germany.
The Roma folklore from Macedonia was represented by the Primary School “Brakja Miladinovci” who with their choreography got the spectators and participants of the festival up standing. The National Roma Center is a partner for a few years now with CMEDT- Amalipe from the city of Veliko Tarnovo – Bulgaria country of the European Union.
The participation of the National Roma Centrum once again this year is supported by the European Commission of the program Europe for the citizens – Structural support for civil society organizations at European level 2016.
