Safet Cupevski – Kamaco

Safet Cupevski – Kamaco, one of the many educated Roma in Macedonia and wider, still unemployed. He is one of the many Roma, waiting all the time in front of the Bureau for employment. Cupevski starting from 1977-1981, graduated in the University in Belgrade, superior working therapist, for kinesis therapy and physical therapy. In the period of 1983-1986 he has become graduated defectologist, 7th degree study. But, his education is not stopping there. In the school year of 2005-2006, he has registered on ph.d. magistrate studies for defectology, on the St. Cyril and Methodius University. He has working experience in Switzerland, in the military hospital in Nis and in other medical institutions outside Macedonia. Also he is emeritus president of the Council of Roma Intellectuals in Macedonia, first unemployed president. Related with his current situation, Cupevski is stating that he has lost his hope one day to be employed.

Besides all efforts to employ I did not succeed, now nothing more is left, then to magistrate and doctorate in this filed. As only Roma defectologist in Macedonia, my status as unemployed is absurd, Safet Cupevski – Kamaco is stating.
