Peace Corps volunteers visited NRC’s office in order to gain knowledge about Macedonia’s working environment

Kelly Rupp (Los Angeles), Sara Christopher (Augusta), Stephen Robinson (Seatle), Mary Hulse (Atlanta) and Shelley Aellwood-Davis (Lexinton) were interested about the way the organization works, how activities are being planned and what are NRC’s necessities.

The volunteers are in master studies in relation to public policies of different universities in the USA.

NRC’s representatives presented the plans and programs of the organization and offered an image about the organization’s work in reality.

In the following two years the volunteers will gain a working experience in Macedonia. They will live in the local communities and are already visiting trainings for Macedonian and Albanian languages. They volunteer for different reasons: to gain work experience, to share their skills, to learn about the world, and to make a positive difference in the world we live in. At the end of the visit the volunteers were impressed by NRC’s activities as well as from the achieved effects in its five year work.
