The project activities from Roma Pride will be realized at 08.10.2014 (Wednesday), at the Plato in front of Center for culture “Trajko Prokopiev” – Kumanovo.

Association “National Roma Cenrum” is implementing Roma Pride through the campaign “Dosta! Go beyond prejudice, meet the Roma!, with support from the Council of Europe .

The campaign is implemented in order to influence the perceptions of the Roma based on prejudice and stereotypes through promoting values ​​of Roma people and their contribution to society and creating a better image of Roma.

Project activities will be implemented on 10.08.2014 (Wednesday), in front of the Center for culture “Trajko Prokopiev” – Kumanovo. In collaboration with teachers of fine arts in primary and secondary schools working groups of mixed ethnic background will prepare art works entitled “Do you know the Roma.”

At the event each school will have their own space where they will be exposed and presented creative works of students from these schools. The event will be followed by music and the end groups of schools will be invited to stick their quotes and messages at the panel set at the scene. After setting all the canvases on boards Wall against prejudice, stereotypes and discrimination will be present as a barrier against these negative phenomena in the society.
