The National Roma Centrum is especially pleased to announce that relating to our proposal, Ramo Rushidovski, NRC board member, was awarded the November prize on the occasion of the Liberation Day of the City of Kumanovo in the Second World War. The Roma community and NRC are proud because since the War until today, a Roma is awarded this prestigious prize presented by the City for the first time. Ramo Rushidovski is an eminent and a well-known activist for progress of Roma people in the areas of political, education, culture, ethnology, folklore and tradition. He is an author of two books titled Roma in Europe.
