The guests were presented with the structure of the organization, the strategic determination as well as current activities with special emphasis on the results from education.

A group of 11 representatives from the non government sector, foundations, Institutes for higher learning and principles of schools visited NRC to acquire information about the experiences in the area of education. They have come to Macedonia for a study visit in order to find new methods of working with Roma children in education especially because Ukraine faces problems with segregation in schools. The host of the group in Macedonia is the association “Dendo vas”.

The guests were presented with the structure of the organization, the strategic determination as well as current activities with special emphasis on the results from the Campaign for education of Roma that NRC with support from the Roma Education is realizing since 2006.

The guests from Ukraine expressed satisfaction and impression from NRC’s scope of activities as well as from the way in which the goals are being realized in the education process. Special attention also caused the work of the Roma mediators and current preparations for institutionalization of their position in education.
