Description: The project is directed toward the contribution in the improvement of the efficiency of the mechanisms for facilitating the access to justice for the socially vulnerable citizens and the vulnerable categories of citizens, and especially for the members of the Roma community, through the improvement of the standards for providing legal aid and recommendations based on analysis. The Association National Roma Centrum is advocating for continuity in the principle of the ruling of the law in every domain of the society. Advocating, first of all, for participation of the members of the Roma community by providing legal aid for this vulnerable group of citizens, and also for every citizen with the same need, the Association also wants to contribute to the system of free legal aid by the use of its previous practical experience.
Strengthening the capacity of the association as part of the Free Legal Aid Network as a provider of previous legal aid and strengthening the capacity of the Free Legal Aid Network, ensuring sustainability in terms of meeting the legal requirements which it needs to fulfill, providing preliminary legal aid to citizens, providing legal aid to rejected applicants for free legal aid, identification of cases for strategic conduct of proceedings proceedings, as well as the conduct itself are some of the essential purposes.
Furthermore, the Association NRC has a purpose to locate the weaknesses and the barriers in the implementation of the Law for free legal aid, to give suggestions for changes in the legal regulation regarding the access to justice based on a research and analysis in order to improve the cooperation between the contributors in the system for free legal aid (the ministry, courts, governing bodies, associations and the citizens as users of the services). All these goals will be implemented through the monitoring of the implementation of the Law for free legal aid, development of analysis about the access to justice in Macedonia and the implementation of the free legal aid, development of documents for public politics, through active promotion of free legal aid between the citizens through the maintenance of the website www.pristapdopravda.com, informational leaflets, and of course through constant providing of free legal aid for the citizens.
The partners in the project are: Macedonian young lawyers association (MYLA) Skopje, Youth Cultural Centre (YCC) Bitola, ROMA SOS Prilep, Eho Stip and Izbor Strumica.

Specific aims
– To suggest improvement of the legal regulation in the field of access to justice through recommendations and documents for public politics based on research, analysis and consultations;
– To improve the awareness of the citizens for the free legal aid, as well as for the other legal issues which are important for easier access to justice;
– To identify and analyze the elements of the legal system which make the access to justice for the Macedonian citizens more difficult;
– To provide legal protection for the persons who will be rejected in their request for a free legal aid;
– To build the capacities of the network for free legal aid in order to provide quality legal aid for the applicants.
