Reviewing the opportunities for cooperation and further approximation of small(er) communities and the local government.

In the premises of the local government on 30.05.2016 was held a second working meeting with representatives of the municipality of Bitola. Council members Violeta Kovacevic, Blagoj Saklevski and Anita Angelevska- representative of municipality of Bitola, attended the meeting.

The purpose of this meeting was the presentation of the project and project activities discussing the current practices and experiences at the local level and considering possibilities for future cooperation. With creation of strategies and programs through workshops, trainings for all stakeholders at the local level to strengthen their capacities for improving the participation of small(er) communities in municipality of Bitola.

The project team presented the project, the project activities, i.e. what it is the purpose of its implementation. The representatives were told about the importance of their presence in the project activities which would be carried out in order to establish channels for communication between them, local civil society organizations and members of the small(er) communities for successful cooperation.

Representatives of the municipality said that they already have established communication and cooperation with the local organizations and will help with their involvement in the project and they will support the project and project activities in full if it is in their possibilities.
