Formal and informal ways of cooperation between representatives of local associations of citizens and local authorities
In hotel Lirak on 20th and 21st February was held the fourth workshop for formal and informal ways of cooperation between representatives of local associations and local authorities.
The workshop was attended by representatives of associations of citizens belonging to Roma, Macedonian, Serbian, Croatian community and representatives of the municipality of Tetovo, representatives from local schools, the Commission for Inter-Ethnic Relations and the Department of Interior of Tetovo who participated in identifying specific problems, challenges and needs of the citizens in the municipality of Tetovo.
Working in groups the participants identified problems in terms of pollution, education, documentation of members of the Roma community, legalization, health and offered concrete solutions to overcome them.
On the second day of the workshop participants worked on developing their communication skills through exercises and examples and got acquainted with ways on how to recognize impaired cooperation and resolving disputes and conflicts in cooperation.
The workshop was conducted by two experienced trainers in collaboration with the project team.
