Reviewing of opportunities for proactive action at the local level for small(er) communities 

On 20.05.2016 year at the premises of local government was held a working meeting with representatives of the municipality of Kocani. The president of the council Jordan Dimitrov, council members Marija Ananijeva and Georgi Aleksov, and drafter of the sessions Jalcin Nedzipi attended at the meeting.

The purpose of this meeting was the presentation of the project activities, understanding of current practices and experiences at the local level and considering possibilities for future cooperation to enhance the participation of small(er) communities in the Municipality of Kocani aimed at developing strategies and strengthening capacities through workshops and training sessions for all stakeholders at the local level.

The project team members Mihail Gotovski, Alexandra Georgievska, Fatima Ramadanovska, along with Draganco Georgiev representative from the partner organization Avena from Kocani, presented the project, project activities, and expected outcomes of the project, i.e. the purpose of its implementation. The representatives were informed about the importance of their presence in the project activities in order to establish channels of communication between them, the civil society organizations and members of the small (er) communities for successful cooperation.

Representatives of the municipality showed great interest in the project and to participate in the project activities.
