National Roma Centrum in partnership with  Public from Skopje organized training for sub-grantees within the project “Commbating of discrimination against Roma children”, supported by the Delegation of the European Union in Macedonia.

On November 15th and 16th, in Ohrid, the project team organized training for strengthening the capacities of civic associations, beneficiaries of the project “Commbating of discrimination against Roma children” for creating ideas, writing projects, applying, implementing, visibility and reporting. The training was attended by representatives of citizens’ associations that received the grant: Rozhm “Daja” and Theater “Chirikla” from Kumanovo, “Romano Vilo” from Kochani, “Cherenja” from Stip, “Roma Perspective” from Prilep and “Bela Kula” from Kichevo.

In addition to the theoretical part for capacity building for the application process for projects in the two-day training, the projects and reports were presented in order to see the challenges and exchange information to overcome the problems that the associations faced during the implementation of the sub- grants. There was also a presentation of the implemented activities and the results of the sub-grants in order to exchange the various ideas, results and manner of implementation of the subgrants that will serve in the more recent flow of the work of the associations.
