The National Roma Centrum is honored to invite you on Saturday, August 1, at 11 a.m. to commemorate all Roma victims from around the world and the Balkans, for a 10-minute tribute to the more than 3,000 Roma killed on the night between August 2 and 3 at the Auschwitz concentration camp. – Poland.
During World War II, Roma were killed in gas chambers in several concentration camps, and in some places no Roma were left alive.
At the same time, for all the victims from then until today, during the years of victims of the other wars (Eh Yugoslavia, the disintegration of the post-communist countries), the rise of racism and anti-Gypsyizm against them.
The place of the event is by the quay of the river Vardar in the immediate vicinity of the plateau in front of the stone bridge in Skopje.
We would like to inform you that according to the prevention protocol from Covid 19 to keep a distance, the event will last no more than 15 minutes.
