Seminar on approaches and methodologies for non-formal education on basic and transversal skills for Roma youth (presentation of the curricula, presentation of educational materials).

This seminar is organized by Akademika 245 in Sofia, Bulgaria on 15-17 May 2018 in the framework of “Supporting the Social Inclusion and of Young Roma Through Non-Formal Education” project implemented by the lead organisation Institute of Romani Culture in Albania in partnership with National Roma Centrum in Macedonia and Akademika 245 in Bulgaria and financed by Europian Commision in the framework of Erasmus + program.

Participants’ Profile

The seminar will bring together 30 participants
– 10 Roma youth from Albania
– from Macedonia
– from Bulgaria

All participants must:
 be aged between 18 and 30 years;
 be able to work in English;
 be available and fully committed to take part in the Seminar;
 be curious, open-minded, appreciate diversity and learn about each other’s realities.
 be motivated to learn ;
 be involved in youth or community projects in their community;
 possess a sense of responsibility for one’s own actions, a commitment to personal and
community development and continue the engagement with other participants;

A specific priority will be given to applicants who have fewer opportunities.

Working language
The working language of the programme will be English. Participants must have sufficient
understanding of English in order to comprehend and complete the application form without
assistance from another person and to fully and actively take part in the programme.
