The health of the Roma in the Republic of Macedonia

-Access, challenges and opportunities for improvement-

On the occasion of 25 years of FOOM support for strong and active citizens and a democratic society, the team of the National Roma Centrum participated in this event and had the opportunity to exchange several information with the Minister of Health Venko Filipce for the activities, the role of intensive further cooperation with civic organizations by putting special accent on the health of the Roma woman and her family.

The conference had solid speakers and discussions on topics with a role for improving the health of the Roma community in Macedonia.

The team of the Health Program of the Foundation Open Society Macedonia in cooperation with the Budapest Health Foundation’s Program and civil society organizations with great professionalism and responsibility contributed to the Roma health to return to a great door in the agenda of institutions in Macedonia.
