{"id":4292,"date":"2017-09-25T14:26:58","date_gmt":"2017-09-25T14:26:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nationalromacentrum.org\/en\/?p=4292"},"modified":"2017-09-25T14:56:18","modified_gmt":"2017-09-25T14:56:18","slug":"fifth-report-of-monitoring-of-the-sessions-of-municipal-councils","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationalromacentrum.org\/en\/publications\/research\/fifth-report-of-monitoring-of-the-sessions-of-municipal-councils","title":{"rendered":"Fifth report of monitoring of the sessions of municipal councils"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Key findings from the monitoring of the sessions on the municipal councils about inter-ethnic relations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This report was prepared within the project activities &#8220;Improving the participation of small(er) communities at the local level&#8221; with the support of Delegation of the European Union and Insok.<\/p>\n<p>Association National Roma Centrum from Kumanovo (NRC) together with the Association of Roma Avena Kocani, starting from April 1 till August 31, 2017 monitored the level of quality of the sessions and their dynamics, structure of participants in decision-making process regarding inter-ethnic relations, whether the Commission for inter-community relations is functional and consulted and whether their opinions and recommendations have been taken into account, planning and allocation of funds, participation of smaller communities directly or indirectly as citizens.<\/p>\n<p>Before you is the fifth report which refers to the period from April 1 till August 31, 2017.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">*****<\/p>\n<p>This publication has been produced with the assistance of the European Union.
